About the Position

We are now looking for a project manager for an exciting assignment at a government authority in Malmö. Your main responsibility will be to initiate a new project, set direction and structure, and develop the necessary frameworks for implementation. Once the startup phase is completed, the responsibility for the project's continued execution will be handed over to others.

Other common tasks:

• Plan, lead, develop, and follow up on projects
• Ensure that project activities are conducted in accordance with established processes, routines, guidelines, and directives
• Be responsible for deliveries according to schedule, within budget, and with agreed functionality and quality
• Continuously report status to the steering group
• Be responsible for communication within the project as well as externally to stakeholders.

Assignment Period and Scope

The project manager position is a full-time consulting assignment starting as soon as possible. The assignment will last for approximately 4 months from the time the right candidate is in place.

The authority conducts security-classified operations, which means that a background check with a subsequent security interview will be conducted with the final candidate. This also affects the start date, as it is not possible to begin the assignment until the background check is completed and approved.

The work is performed only on-site at the authority's premises in Malmö.

Requirements for the Position:

• High school or equivalent education
• At least three (3) years of work experience as a project manager
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
• Experience working according to one of the commonly used project models, e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Prince 2
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
